On May 31, the PREVNet blog included an item titled Help! I’m being bullied at school… The author, Lavina Sadhwani,  provided 10 ideas to help students manage the bullying and feel safe, they are:

  1. Share your feelings with a friend you trust.
  2. Ask a friend to hang out with you
  3. Tell a trusted teacher what is happening
  4. Tell your parent(s) about what is happening at school
  5. Inform your principal about what is happening
  6. Document the bullying
  7. Re-focus your attention away from the bullying
  8. See your family doctor
  9. Learn more about bullying
  10. Start a club at school
