On May 22nd this blog published an article titled The Learning Exchange blog on Cascading Challenges  which referred readers to a Learning Exchange blog by Garfield Gini-Newman on three keys to  cascading challenges.

The June 5th 2017 issue of the Toronto Star (pp E1, 6) includes an article by Isabel Teotonio titled  The Critical Thinker: Critical thinking has long been part of education policy, but now it’s a buzz word  and it includes an interview with Gini-Newman – an author (the Library has his book Critical thinking Classrooms), professor, and consultant with the Critical Thinking Consortium .

From the newspaper: ” critical thinking doesn’t mean becoming critical, but rather using criteria to the make thoughtful decisions”

Check it out! Rowan
