December 21, 2016 at 1:00 pm Leave a comment

Making Thinking Audible is a blog item written by  Teresa Meikle on the Learning Exchange (formerly Learn Teach Lead) blog and includes references to works by Lucy West and Will Richardson, among others. She describes a classroom that encourages collaboration in a rich and positive environment.

Also,  the latest issue of Education Canada (Winter 2016)  from the CEA, is all about student voice. Sample articles include: Raising Their Voices and Why Student Voice Matters .

We also have a brand new book tiled Number talks: Fractions, decimals and percentages: A multimedia professional learning resource by Sherry Parrish and Ann Dominik and includes more than 1,500 purposefully designed number talks and links to streaming videos.
