MediaSmarts online survival guide for post-secondary students

MediaSmarts has released a new free online resource titled On the loose: A guide to life online for  post secondary students [pdf].

It has 4 chapters/sections:

  1. Surviving School (internet research/plagiarism/citation, etc)
  2. Let’s talk about Money (smart shopping and online security)
  3. Other people problems (online relationships/safety/harassment/sexting)
  4. Taking care of yourself (online safety/healthy screen-life balance)

Check it out!Aimed at post secondary students, the information is totally valuable for secondary students too.
