More Great Math Sites

Here are some samples of great math sites that you can find in the TDSB Virtual Library (the school library portal). Check out these and other educational  math sites at the TDSB Virtual Library –  Elementary  or  Secondary. From the main page click on Elementary Subjects or Secondary Subjects and then Mathematics.

Cool Math for Kids 

  • CoolMath for Kids uses colourful  graphics in the  lessons and engage younger kids in math skills.

Khan Academy

  • Khan Academy features lessons and exercises that are aligned with the Ontario grade 6 mathematics curriculum and the US curriculum grades 3 to 8.


  • Prodigy provides math skills that are aligned with Ontario curriculum for grades 1 to  8. Teachers and parents can create their own accounts to monitor their students’ or kids’ progress in different math skills.

Purple  Math

  • Purple Math is particularly helpful website for secondary students with its free online tutoring, lessons, quizzes and worksheets.

Sumdog Math Games

  • Sumdog Math uses multiplayer math games to engage kids to practice math skills.
