The #MagnaCarta is coming to Toronto! October 4 – November 7, 2015

August 27, 2015 at 10:00 am

Plan ahead to take advantage of this incredible instructional opportunity!  In recognition of its 800th anniversary, the Magna Carta is coming to Fort York (Toronto) from October 4th to November 7th!  The exhibit will feature the history of the document, its legacy with a Canadian emphasis, and its significance to world justice today.

Whether you and/or your classes are lucky enough to visit the Magna Carta Canada exhibit personally or not, the Magna Carta Canada Education (http://www.magnacartacanada.ca/education/) page has excellent resources for teachers: a colourful “posterable” PDF timeline, and a downloadable education guide.

For more details about the Magna Carta and the exhibit, please visit: http://www.magnacartacanada.ca/.
