CEA has released the most recent issue in the Facts on Education series titled, How is neuroscience influencing teaching and learning, authored by the Canadian Education Association and Simon Fraser University. I recommend the web site as the content of the monograph is improved with support materials.

The Professional Library has several recent titles on this topic including:

  • From brain to mind: Using neuroscience to guide change in education (2011)
  • Mind, brain, and education: Neuroscience to guide change in education (2011)
  • Multiple pathways to the student brain: Energizing and enhancing instruction (2014, e-book)
  • The new science of teaching and learning:  Using the best of mind, brain, and education science in the classroom (2010)

TDSB teachers can reserve the print books, read the e-book via our catalogue at Remember to login using your network password which will enable you to reserve books or read e-books.
