TDSB Teaching Goes Tech: Apps, Coding, Cyberbullying, Gaming, and Social Media!

June 4, 2015 at 8:00 am

Submitted by Lauren, one of our fabulous reference librarians:

Teachers in TDSB are trying a lot of new approaches to teaching and learning.  We’ve put together resource lists about the following hot topics to support and inspire our teachers.  Each resource list includes professional books, articles, and web resources!

Apps for Education (using apps, not a list of apps)

Coding in the Classroom

Gaming (Digital) in the Classroom

Gaming (Physical) in the Classroom

Social Media for Educators

We’ve also updated our resource list on Cyberbullying to assist teachers with preventing, recognizing, and dealing with cyberbullying as their students learn in increasingly online and social environments.

To access all of these lists, you’ll need to sign out of any personal Google accounts and sign in to your TDSB Google account.  Need help?  Click here for a guide.
