Blended Learning Guide

The National Center on Time and Learning has released a guide titled Supporting Student Success Through time and Technology

The following is reproduced from the website and news release:

” Supporting Student Success is a guide for district leaders and school practitioners interested in implementing a blended learning strategy in their schools. The guide details the current blended learning approaches at six expanded learning time schools across the country, and highlights their lessons learned. Additionally, it outlines seven design and implementation steps for practitioners interested in using technology to personalize student learning.

  1. Set a clear educational purpose for utilizing technology
  2. Determine your readiness
  3. Design a model right for your school
  4. Carefully select the technology and software
  5. Plan and deliver staff training
  6. Create a troubleshooting plan
  7. Reflect, Adjust, and Improve”
