New books on Autism

Thanks to a generous donation from the TDSB Autism Services department, the Professional Library will be receiving many new books on Autism. Here are some of the first books to arrive:

  1. The Autism fitness handbook: An exercise program to boost body image, motor skills, posture and confidence in children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (David Geslake, 2015)
  2. Colour coding for learners with Autism: A resource book for creating meaning through colour at home ans school (Adele Devine, 2014).
  3. A complete ABA Curriculum for individuals on the Autism Spectrum with a developmental age of  3-5 years (Knapp & Turnball, 2014
  4. A complete ABA Curriculum for individuals on the Autism Spectrum with a developmental age of  4-7 years (Knapp & Turnball, 2014
  5. A complete ABA Curriculum for individuals on the Autism Spectrum with a developmental age of  7 years up to young adulthood (Knapp & Turnball, 2014)
  6. Make your own picture stories for kids with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder): A DIY guide for parents and carers (Brian Attwood, 2015)
  7. Sensory stories for children and teens with special education needs: A practical guide (Joanna Grace, 2015)
